Our Beaver leaders, Otter and Squirrel, are doing a Wingwalk!

Raising money for the Beavers Sleepover at the SeaLife Centre in May 2025

“We are planning to take our beaver scouts on an adventure of a lifetime. Sleeping in the ocean tunnel and taking part in conservation activities. This adventure will require additional support and therefore the DAREDEVIL LEADERS will be undertaking a WINGWALK."

Skills for Life

The 4th Stafford (St. Paul’s) Scout Group is part of Stafford District Scouts and is one of the larger groups in the District, providing Scouting to members from across the town.

Welcome to 4th Stafford Scout Group

Based in the parish room at St. Paul’s Church in Stafford, we provide an active programme of Scouting based activities, both indoor and outdoor adventures, for young people aged 4 to 14, as well as our crucial adult volunteers.

We pride ourselves in preparing and equipping our members with skills for life, giving young people the essential skills of independence and initiative, they need to succeed now and in the future. We encourage our young people to do more and learn more. This ethos underpins our programme and everything we do.

Our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts take part in an exciting programme covering a wide range of activities and events. Being a Scout develops important skills; resilience, initiative, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving; through a huge variety of practical skills, including backwoods cooking, pioneering, navigation and first aid.

Adventure does not have to be extravagant or expensive – Through the adventure of Scouting, our young people get to take risks in a safe environment. Our programme provides young people with the opportunities to learn and develop new skills, such as rock climbing, caving, kayaking, hillwalking, just some of the things we get up to.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
