Autumn Camp 2023 @ Kibblestone

The Scouts had a brilliant time at a weekend camp in October for Autumn Camp at Kibblestone Campsite in Stone.
For a change, we had Great weather with warm sunshine and no rain!
The Scouts cooked on fires all weekend in their patrols, they’ve worked great as teams to make some delicious meals. Well done Scouts.
Breakfasts involved sausages, eggy bread and beans followed by a top chilli con carne and rice for tea. The Scouts made this themselves over an open fire following the recipe.
As well as backwoods cooking, the Scouts enjoyed bushcraft skills including axe work as well as some all-important wide games.
Big thanks to the leaders and young leaders for giving up their time to make a great weekend camp.
