The Group had a fantastic activity day at Sherratts Wood Campsite. 🏕️
Celebrating 30 years of the 4th Stafford (St. Paul’s) Scout Group since it was reformed in 1993. But the Group has met at St. Paul’s Church in various incarnations since c.1910. Find out more.
Young people and families from all sections got to take part in all matter of Scouting Based Activities from rifle shooting and Archery, axe throwing and climbing as well as crafts, bushcraft and inflatables! 🏹🪓🔥🧗♀️🏰
A picnic at lunchtime, followed by presentations and the formal aspects of the AGM. Several awards were handed out to our young people in all sections, including the Chief Scout Brzone, Silver and Gold awards by the District Commissioner. The Section Leaders had the opportunity to give a quick review of the year for their sections, outlining all the fantastic activities and opportunities our young people have on offer.
The weather did not deter spirits despite the persistent rain. In the evening, everyone enjoyed a BBQ cooked by the Scouts on fires.
The event was very well attended, thank you to all the families who attended and support the Group.
Thank you to all the leaders for all the time spent organising yet another successful event and for making this happen.
