Autumn Camp was another action-packed weekend. In early Septebmer, filled with all sorts of exciting activities, from bushcraft to backwoods cooking, crate stacking to crossbow shooting, it had all the ingredients for a traditional Scout camp.
And, despite the forecast, the weather wasn’t all that bad.

The Scouts were brilliant, as always, putting their incredible skills into practice all weekend, cooking for themselves and running their patrol sites.

Thanks, of course, to the Leaders; Adrian, Jake, Sam, Louis and George for another weekend of your time. The 5th camp in just 4 months.

On Friday evening, setup at Milldale Scout Campsite for the start of Autumn Camp. The Force 10 tents were up and sausages for supper were cooked.

Crate stacking and crossbow shooting were great fun.
After the onsite activities, an afternoon of bushcraft activities – knife craft, axe work and fires – proper traditional Scouting.
In the evening, it was time for tea. The Scouts cooked chilli and rice from scratch, all on open fire.
