Scout’s Spring Camp 2025
What an amazing camp! Kinver 2025 turned out to be amongst the best weather we’ve ever had on camp, helping to make the weekend even better.
From hammocks and pioneered bridges, rifle shooting to aerial runways, cooking meals to bushcraft skills, the Scouts have the opportunities to experience these amazing traditional Scouting based activities.
Well done to all the Scouts for their brilliant conduct and demonstration of skills, rising to challenge and fulfilling adventures.
Huge thanks to the leadership team; Sam, Adrian, Darren, George, Ben and Grace for all their efforts in the lead up to, during and after this weekend. These volunteers make these amazing activities possible.
To kick things off, Friday evening setup, excited for the Troop to be back at this amazing place at Kinver.
Flag break and briefing, Force10 Tents going up, and the Friday evening film before bed.
Saturday morning and breakfast is cooking: bacon, mushrooms and eggs. Then, straight on to the morning’s activities: Pioneering a bridge, constructing a hammock village, aerial runway building and air rifle shooting. Proper traditional Scouting.
Saturday afternoon continued our amazing time on camp at Kinver. Scouts were on the aerial runway, found the cave and praticing their bushcraft skills. All before an amazing homemade tea of chicken wraps and rice.
