Scout’s Winter Camp 2024

The Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders had a fab time at Winter camp at the weekend.

On Saturday, the Scouts are at the helm of a narrow boat for the day, driving the boat and operating locks.

While not on lock duties, between our two boats an intense game of radio battleships was at play… 

Back at camp, preparation for fires and cooking tea commenced with Pasta carbonara and baked lemon cake all cooked over a wood fire. Top Scouting! 

Sunday morning from and building fires again for cooking breakfast of sausages, black pudding, beans and crusty bread, ready for the day’s activities…

After breakfast shelter building, including building a clay fire pit, before concluding camp. 

Well done to the Scouts who attended. A massive thank you to the leaders for organising and running the camp.
