Group Camp 2026!

The theme for this year’s camp will be ‘Space’. It’s an exciting time for space exploration again, and what better theme for a camp!

The camp will run over 4 days from Saturday 23rd to Tuesday 26th May 2026, at our local District Campsite, Sherratt’s Wood.

The long weekend will bring together all the Group’s Sections, leaders and supporters. We have a fun-packed programme planned with all manner of Scouting-based activities to take part in. #PioneeredAtThe4th.

Essential Information for Parents…

Campsite Setup Support - Friday 22nd May

Campsite Setup Support – Friday 22nd May

Setting up the campsite for nearly 100 people is a mammoth task, one that the adult volunteers cannot possibly do themselves.

Sections will not meet on Friday, 22nd May. Instead, we are asking parents of all sections to help set up the campsite from 7 pm. Scouts attending the event will also be asked to attend.

The main jobs we need to support with is putting up a huge 10 m by 4 m marquee for dining, as well as putting up Cub tents.

Any Squirrel or Beaver parents who are camping may also setup your tents, etc., when the main camp is set up.

Please look out for more information from your Section teams and let them know if you are able to support.
