Returning for 2026, the sausage sizzle is our annual get together of parents, leaders, young people and supporters of the Group. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our young people, present awards and showcase the amazing activities our sections have done, combined with the formalities of the AGM.
Everyone is welcome to attend, including friends and families of our young people.
The deadline to sign up and let us know your numbers is Friday 3rd July, via OSM. Don’t miss out!
Leaders will be busy with the BBQ and presentations; all young people must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.
We will be providing a BBQ for all to enjoy. On sign up via OSM, please to let us know how many people you will bring. You only need to complete this once per family.
The cricket club bar will be open, should you wish to supplement your hot dog with a beverage or two 🙂 We are very lucky that the club allows us to use its facilities. We will be using the function room for bar service, not the normal bar.
A polite reminder that the cricket club is a sports ground. There will be a cricket game in progress. Please ensure your children do not wander off to or approach the square or covers. Football games are not allowed on the pitch.
We also have several pocket money stalls, so bring your loose change and take part in a range of games and activities for all ages.
One of our Scouts, Connie, has been selected to attend the World Scout Jamboree (WSJ) in Poland in 2027. She will have a stall where she will be fundraising. Speak to Connie for more information on what is involved in the WSJ and her adventures so far.
Our usual is back raffle – prizes will be displayed inside the function room. Don’t forget to buy your tickets.
All young people and leaders should attend in full, smart uniform.
We hope to see as many families as possible.
During the presentations, we will complete the formalities of our AGM.
